About shipping and delivery:
Please note: Shipping costs are based on average weights and sizes and that occasionally they can be more expensive if an order is larger or heavier. We will let you know before we ship if that is the case, but we will only notify you if the shipping cost is more than $5.00 over that which you have selected, or if the courier cost to the recipient address is more costly due to the following reasons:

if you have chosen the incorrect shipping option, or
due to distance, a rural address or a road less travelled.

All orders need to be received by 1:30 pm EST to be processed that day, sent out at night for delivery the following day.

Please be certain the address you are shipping to is correct. A charge from $8.50 will be added for re-routed orders and we are not responsible for lost or undeliverable orders due to a wrong address.

Overnight deliveries in the US are usually delivered by 12 Noon the next morning to Business offices and usually by 5pm to residences. Please note that there is no Sunday delivery service. Saturday delivery to most cities and towns in the US is available but more costly. An order received during the weekend will go out on Monday at the earliest

We do not like to send out orders on a Friday night for delivery on Monday as the package will have to sit in a Warehouse over the week end. It would be preferable to ship for delivery on Friday, and we will put a not of apology for the early delivery due to Courier Restrictions …..or to ship on Monday for Tuesday delivery in which case we would apologize for the late delivery due to Courier Restrictions.

Fresh products are fragile. Packages shipped on the “2-3 day economy” rate are subject to a lot more handling and are therefore more likely to become damaged. For this reason be aware of the fact that economy shipping is not recommended and is used at your own risk.

Please note, Truffles should not be shipped during hot weather. It is also not recommended to ship truffles overnight during hot weather.
